'zines are dying like chickens at a Tyson plant. Nobody's reading them
-- or online editions of newspapers, either. Here's why: heavier, less
malleable delivery mechanism, harsher on the eyes, slower on the hands,
less comfortable chair, far more damage if coffee is spilled on said
mechanism -- and -- unless you're a real Net potato, 10 or more steps
to access the materials compared to two: 'open door, open mailbox'.
When future technology makes it easier instead of harder, let us know.
In the meantime, give it up."
